A gravadora Motown completou 50, em 2009, com um legado de artistas e sucessos impressionantes, incluindo Michael Jackson, o Rei do Pop.

A animação em stop motion com pecinhas de Lego está fazendo sucesso na internet.

O videoclipe foi feito para a música 8-bit trip, da banda sueca Rymdreglage. A idéia era usar peças de Lego e cenas de games da era 8-bits.

O sincronismo é total e a animação é pura nostalgia pra quem gosta de jogos de décadas passadas. O vídeo apresenta clássicos como Mario, Pac-Man e Tetris - game mais jogado da história.

A animação é de Tomas Redigh e a música, de Daniel Larsson. Segundo a banda, a obra demorou cerca de 1500 horas (62,5 dias) para ficar pronto.

Michael Joseph Jackson nasceu no dia 29 de agosto de 1958 e começou a cantar e a dançar aos cinco anos de idade, iniciando a carreira profissional aos onze anos como vocalista da banda Jackson 5.

Em 1971, estreou a carreira solo e nos anos seguintes ganhou o apelido de Rei do Pop.

Thriller, de 1982, foi o álbum mais vendido da história.

No início dos anos 1980, ele se tornou uma figura dominante na música e  foi o primeiro cantor negro a aparecer na MTV.

Em 1993 foi acusado de abuso sexual de crianças, mas a investigação foi arquivada devido a falta de provas e o astro não foi a tribunal.

Depois, se casou e teve três filhos.

Sua vida conturbada fez dele parte da história da música e cultura popular por mais de quatro décadas.

O cantor se apresentaria em Londres no dia 13 de julho, dia em que iniciaria a turnê “This is it”, com mais de 50 shows programados pela Inglaterra.
